Just been to my neice’s 21st birthday party…. had a good night, a few beers and some nice food… tired now so off to bed. Nite nite, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite.

My boyfriend suffers with chronic congestion and/or runny nose. It has gone on for months, maybe years. It comes on when he gets a chill – eg, his body may be warm but a certain area of his body gets a draft, like his feet, and he’ll start sneezing incessantly and his nose will be streaming. He often gets pressure headaches and currently is complaining of an ear ache. He hasn’t got a cold, because it’s not like that all the time. It is very frustrating and has a tendency to occur during the night, which wakes us both up. It’s not bed bugs because the bed is brand new. It doesn’t seem to be an allergy because there is no one component that could be causing an allergy – he has recently moved house and had the same thing in his old house as well.
Any ideas?

I have been traveling and stayed in a hostel in Glasgow. The hygiene standards were below any expectation level. Not to mention BED BUGS!!!!!
I will be complaining in writing to the owner, however, I wonder which association hostels fall under and where I could take my complaint in case the hostel’s owner does not take responsibility.
The receptionist was drunk and refused to refund me when I approached him with this matter.
