Insect powders from the hardware store really work. I use silica gel cat litter crushed to a fine fine powder myself. The diatom powder you buy in the store sticks to the bedbugs and dehydrate them. The powder is very fine and it gets into their joints and absorbs their waxy coating and causes them to dry out.
